Pete and Steve Nervo joined with schoolmates Craig DeBock and Gino Milchak to form the core of what would become ''La Flavour''. The group traveled all over the country, performing their hit single ''Mandolay''. Steve was one of the lead singers for ''La Flavour" and began his career in Massillon,Ohio in 1967. The song made it in Billboard at #7 in 1980 in the USA. The song hit #1 in the European market receiving air play in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Holland.

Steve sang the lead vocals on ''Mandolay'' and was the Drummer for the band. Steve retired from the group ''La Flavour'' due to health reasons, but is back with The Originals. Steve's voice makes you think you are listening to all the sounds of Motown: "The Four Seasons'' ,''The Temptations'', "Smokey'', "Little Anthony'' and many more.

Steve is a song writer and has helped to record several songs with ''La Flavour'' and had another record that made Billboards hot 100 and R&B charts ''Only The Lonely'' [Have a Reason To Be Sad]. Today Steve still works in his home studio to produce music tracks for himself and The Originals.


Steve has performed La Flavour's hit song recently in concerts in Atlantic City, LA, California and New York Casinos.
